Among the top 10 provinces in terms of exports, only Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Liaoning Province have achieved growth compared to 2023, while the rest of the provinces have declined. Among them, Guangdong’s ceramic tile exports accounted for 50.91% of the total exports, down 11.98% year-on-year.
According to foreign media reports in November 2024, the United States, as the world’s largest importer of ceramic tiles, its ceramic imports continued to decline, after a year-on-year decline of 16.4% in August 2024, and a decline of 8.7% in September. This trend echoes the phenomenon of a 2.3% decline in the total volume of international ceramic tile imports and exports in 2023, and the situation is also expected to be not optimistic in 2024. The backsliding of the globalization process, partly due to differences in political ideas, has had a negative impact on international tile imports and exports.
